  1. Princess Yachts 30M "Kohuba" On Sea Trials
This yacht was launched earlier in the month and to most of us, only known by her model name, the Princess 30M. It appears that her name is "Kohuba" and the first hull in the new 30M series is already conducting sea trials. Princess Yachts isn't playing around with this one as they need to get her ready for her world premiere at the Dusseldorf Boat Show in Germany in January next year. The show itself is going to be running from January 23 to the 31st and if you want to glimpse the new Kohuba she'll be on display. Princess Yachts stand is set to be stand 6B21.
  2. Kohuba is already being put through her paces to test and reassure that all systems are functioning as designed and implemented. At the core of her power are twin MTU diesels -more specifically they are 16V 2000 M94s-. These powerplants should allow Kohuba to run at a top speed of 24-knots as Princess has them onboard. It appears that the slightly less powerful 12V 2000 M94 package will be more of the standard set up. A quick look inside, the 30M will host guests in either a 3 or 4 cabin layout dependent on the owner preference. The master suite is on deck and up front using the large side windows and also a handy sizable skylight!
