  1. First Two Hulls Inked For 44 Alloy Series
Italian builder SanLorenzo is proud to announce that they have sold the first two hulls in the new 44 Alloy Series. The yachts were sold to repeat customers of the yard as well, making the occasion more special. The new range of aluminum yachts are expected to be delivered in about two years in 2020 to their owners. The yachts have actually started construction and are being fabricated at SanLorenzo's La Spezia yard.
  2. The design is a result of collaboration between SanLorenzo and Zuccon International Project. The new 44 Alloy is likely an upgrade to the Alloy 40 we have been accustomed to. The new hull will have a GT of around 440, significant greater volume than the 338 GT of the former model. Owners should find the 44 Alloy Series more comfortable with greater space to realize their luxury yacht ideas. Although SanLorenzo announced the new sales, they still have not provided a wealth of information about the yacht. We know that the engines are going to be from MTU and provide power for a 23-knot top-end speed. The 44 Alloy will have a maximum beam of nearly 9-meters and a draft of around 2.3-meters, shallow enough to get in close to shore.
