  1. Available Project 'Fox' Wrapping-Up Construction
Project 'Fox's' construction is coming to an end and the yacht is expected to be launched soon. It is currently under construction at Pendennis in the UK. YF wrote a feature on the new yacht back in 2022 showcasing renderings of how the finished vessel is expected to appear (Project Fox Renders). The Naval Architecture is by DYD with an interior and exterior by Q London.
  2. The new vessel is moving along towards the end of its construction. The exterior is mostly completed and full-attention is on the interior with the fit out to ensure it looks as the renders prescribed. As far as we know, Project Fox is still for sale and is anticipated to be launched in February with delivery available in the Spring. Construction has been made in steel for the hull and aluminum for the superstructure and her credentials are expedition based.
  3. At 34.8-meters long and a beam of 7.8-meters and twin CAT marine diesels onboard she should see a top speed nearing the 15-knot mark and cruise at around 12-knots. The exterior decks are clad in what looks like teak but is actually a material called Tesumo which is being utilized as a substitute for teak. In the yacht industry there has been growing scrutiny on the use of fresh-teak as supplies are dwindling. Tesumo has similar properties like teak but without the ethical/political drama of teak. It is among other things based on sustainably cultivated wood obtained from politically harmless regions. Project Fox can be delivered by Spring.
