May is seeing pocket-explorer and trawler specialist Nordhavn display its vessels at two different boat shows. The first show kicked-off yesterday and will run through the 17th at Cap Sante Marina, which is also the site of Nordhavn’s Northwest sales office. The other boat show will be later this month running from the 22-25. That's Australia's Sanctuary Cove Boat Show in Australia’s Gold Coast.

Nordhavn N41 "Tavie" and Nordhavn N52 "Journey" (which is not currently for sale) are taking center stage at the Nordhavn exhibit at the Anacortes Yacht Show and Trawler Fest (13th to 17th May). The 2021-built Tavie is available for purchase and is asking $799,000. She is a great opportunity to acquire a recent build that is in good condition. Bare in mind the first N41 was launched back in 2020 and Tavie was the second N41 to be launched and delivered.

Tavie has 900 gallons of fuel capacity which translates to just under 3,500 LT. For her size she is definitely a long-range trawler and serves as an entry-level boat in the Nordhavn lineup. Twin Beta 75 horse power engines (1500 approx. hours) run this vessel. While it might not sound like a very powerful set-up this is for slow cruising. The cruising speed is around 8-knots on this one so displacement slow cruising achieves the range. Onboard you will find a two-cabin layout.

Coming up later this month at the Sanctuary Cove Boat Show in Australia Nordhavn confirms that the Nordhavn 55 "Mango" and N60 "Ara Roa" will be on display there. These vessels are currently available for purchase. Mango is a 2006 build on sale for $1,200,000 USD while Ara Roa is a 2013 build asking $2,695,000 AUD with tax and duty paid.
