News: Lynx Yachts Unveil Adventure 24

Lynx Yachts just released the renderings for a new project they are working on and interestingly it is a pocket explorer type yacht. We have become accustomed to Lynx Yachts building pocket shadow/toy/support vessels but this is a different approach for this yard. The new yacht they are working on is called the Adventure 24. Not surprisingly Bernd Weel is the designer of the new yacht as they have been the collaborating designer on the Crossover and YXT series Lynx became known for.

The design is fairly well balanced with a hint of tug inspiration in the design, a slightly longer bow than usual permits a 6-meter tender and two accompanying PWCs to be stowed on the foredeck aided by a dedicated crane. If owners require more space for further tender or toy storage then the upper deck will be the place for that however, a concession perhaps has to be made by not having a hard top. That is simply an option as most owners will prefer the hardtop and the al-fresco areas that it shades in lieu of a working deck.

The aft cockpit is also another nice al-fresco space for guests that overlooks the stern of the vessel. Two tables serve symmetrical seating areas on the aft deck. On the inside the layout onboard is almost specific to each owner. However, in terms of cabin variation, the standard arrangement is going to be 4 cabin layout. An owner can choose to have a bit more space with a 3 cabin layout featuring a full-beam master suite. With the boat being 6.75-meters, this is valuable space to have.
