  1. Second Kleven Explorer Launched For Same Owner
The second and larger explorer yacht of two for owner Greame Hart has been technically launched. The owner in fact recently took delivery of his first explorer superyacht, a 107-meter craft called "Ulysses". The second hull is a bit larger than the first with an LOA of around 116-meters but more-or-less appears to be utilizing the same design overall as the first hull.
  2. Construction on the new 116-meter yacht known as hull 370 is moving apace. If you cast your minds back a couple months ago YF informed you about the three sections that arrived at the Kleven yard for assembly. http://www.yachtforums.com/threads/news-kleven-116m-explorer-arrives-at-kleven-for-completion.25821/ A whole yacht has been born now in that short space of time. While Ulysses has a grey hull and white superstructure, the new explorer has a darker blue hull. One of the impressive features of the new yacht is that she will carry a large tender in her bow –in similar fashion to her sistership-. These will be supported by two very large foldable cranes.
  3. The yacht has been designed by Marin Teknikk for her New Zealand owner. Above the waterline there six internal decks! Hull 370 will have a helipad on the aft bridge deck and an observation deck on the roof of the bridge that surrounds the radar mast; a similar setup akin to Ulysses. At the rate the yard is building the 116-meter explorer vessel, it won’t be that long before she reappears in a more finished state. In fact, by July 2016 we expect to see her once again. This project was ordered in 2014 and should be finished by mid-2016. In an interview last year, the owner said he cannot wait for both vessels to be finalized. At this point he has possession of one and does not have to wait very long for the larger sister. Below is a photo of the completed 107-meter Ulysses.
