Hunt Yachts are known for their lovely Ocean Series Yachts but they also build coastal boats too. The newest of them is the Coastal 40CC that they announced in the fourth quarter of last year. Acceptance of reservations for units to be delivered in Summer of this year are opened for the new boat. Hunt Yachts love performance or obsessed with it if you use the yard's words. Until now, the Coastal series from Hunt Yachts comprised of the Surf Hunter 32, 32 Center Console, 26 Center Console and the Harrier 26.

The Coastal 40 Center Console of CC adds to the Coastal line with a bigger platform and more options. Performance also comes with the bigger platform where you can have a more standard setup with dual 627 horse power outboards from Seven Marine or as an option, there is a triple 350 horse power Yamaha engines. The combined power of the Seven Marine engines should see a top speed just above the 60mph mark.

The Coastal 40 Center Console is also primed as a fishing platform. Fishing options include livewells, floor fishboxes, integrated rod holders and carbon outriggers. Overnighting on this boat should not be a problem either. There is a queen size berth and the best cabin in the Super Console category, the Hunt 40 CC sports a fully integrated sun guard, family-ready galley, social seating on deck and a full-sized companion-way. “Hunt’s heritage has been a focus on building the best performing boats on the water,” said Jay Stockmann, Vice President of Hunt Yachts at The Hinckley Company. “Hunt Yachts are built tough and rugged with a smooth and safe ride.
