  1. New E56XO Model Unveiled By Horizon Yachts
Horizon Yachts is delighted to announce a brand new model called the E56XO. You’d be right if you thought it had anything to do with their very popular E56 model. In fact the E56XO is based directly off the E56 using its widespread appeal while working towards those who like the more sporty form-factor. Horizon says the E56XO has been designed primarily for the Australian market but it is easy to see how this yacht could easily have world-wide appeal. This isn’t one of those concept yachts that stay stuck to the design boards, this yacht is currently under construction.
  2. Hull number one is anticipated to make her debut at the 2016 edition of the Australian Sanctuary Cove Boat Show in May. “After listening to the demands of our global clientele, Horizon is excited to expand upon our entry-level models with the new Horizon E56XO,” said Horizon Group CEO John Lu. “She is our first sport yacht, and as such has been carefully designed to successfully compete in the marketplace – that includes retaining Horizon’s signature layout flexibility, so she may be customized to suit various boating lifestyles and markets”, he continued.
  3. The new Horizon E56XO features sleek exterior styling, with reduced gunnel heights for a lower profile and large window lines, and her newly-designed outdoor areas focuses on the ultimate alfresco experience. A custom-designed aft deck transom cabinet transforms into a serving area, incorporating a BBQ, sink, storage, and baitwell -- a perfect spot to entertain or relax in while guests partake in water sports off of the hydraulic swim platform. For sunny days at anchor, the E56XO’s forward deck offers a dinette seating and sunpads, a popular design on Horizon’s larger motoryachts now included in this model. As the first Horizon E56XO will debut in Australia, the main deck opens to a fully-equipped aft-galley and breakfast bar; extensive storage is located on the starboard side and includes a hydraulic Hi/Lo 50” TV that is ideally located for viewing either in the galley or the forward salon. With a Hi/Lo table and U-shaped seating, the salon can be easily transformed into a dining area that accommodates six guests. The forward lower helm features twin helm chairs, complete Raymarine navigational equipment, and everything needed to safely and easily pilot the E56XO sport yacht.
  4. Accommodation for the E56XO Sport Model is split up for guests in three cabins. The master suite is full-beam in nature and is exclusively laid out to maximize space –a premium on a sub 60-foot boat-, with the head forward of the Queen bed, a chaise to starboard for taking in the view, and a large expanse of storage cabinets plus a closet to port. There’s a VIP- category cabin onboard too situated in the bow. If you are accustomed to the E56 model, the VIP will be fairly familiar as it has been replicated from that particular hull. The other guest cabin is in a version featuring twin berth accommodation and a sizable shared head is located to starboard.
  5. Power comes in the form of a pair of CAT C12A 705HP engines. The new Horizon E56XO is estimated to reach a top speed of 26-knots; with the optional Volvo IPS 950 engines, she will attain a top speed of 32 knots! Additionally, the hull has been designed to accommodate Seakeeper gyro stabilizers if desired, and the Yacht Controller wireless remote docking system included in hull one ensures stress-free maneuvering and docking. Either way, you will be blazing in the new E56XO whether the standard engine configuration or optional is below decks. Arrival in full style is also another guarantee when you are onboard this sport model by Horizon Yachts.
