  1. New 45-meter Motoryacht Design Unveiled by Guido de Groot
Dutch yacht designer Guido de Groot recently unveiled a 45-meter triple-deck motoryacht design. The new design is penned in an interesting market segment where many potential owners would feel comfortable with a 38-meter plus yacht but still one sub 50-meter as it relates not just with size but associated costs. The design is pretty simple while offering ample glazing to assist the onboard living experience. Inside, the new Guido de Goot design suggests accommodation for as many as twelve guests in six staterooms. Up to eight crew members can be slept onboard too.
  2. Yes, she packs a good punch for her size and the layout showcases multiple regions for guests to relax and entertain each other. The main deck boasts a large main deck salon to the aft end of the deck coupled with sizable dining room forward of that position. Amidships, is an ample galley with an adjacent lounge area featuring a bar and games table. The bridge deck boasts a large family lounge accompanied by an additional stateroom, office and children’s cabin. The upper aft deck features generous outdoor space for sunbathing with multiple loungers. The design screams Guido de Groot lines even though it is new and has several individual characteristics, definitely unmistakable Groot. This design firm has had a relatively busy start to the year and more recently with two yachts from their design boards launched by Wim van der Valk Continental Yachts.
