First Oceanic 100 Shadow In Build; Delivery This Year

The first Oceanic 100 Shadow yacht is progressing and approaching completion status which will eventually see it delivered this year to its owner. The yacht being built by Canados is a intended to be a shadow type and will be the first escort-type vessel capable of 26-knots. As you look at the design it showcases a very low profile with enhanced-raked bow reminiscent of the Canados Oceanic 143.

The Oceanic 100 has all the looks of what the yard is doing presently with this range but the interior is by Cristiano Gatto who is is tasked with producing a modern-contemporary styling. Below is an example of how the interior is expected to be finished. Guests will sleep in three cabins on the lower deck. A full-beam master suite and two other guest suites are to suffice.

The aft main deck measures approximately 80 sqm and will be large enough to comfortably stow a 7-meter primary tender. Power is provided by a pair of CAT C32 ACERT diesels. Top speed is as high as 26-knots according to the builder but her operations will typically take her between 11 to 23-knots. To facilitate the movement of the tender and toys to and from the aft main deck there is a 1.5-tonne capacity crane available. Once all the tenders and toys are in the water the deck can be transformed into an entertainment area.
