News: Fincantieri Unveils 90M Superyacht 'Linea'

Italian yard Fincantieri has unveiled their latest superyacht design. The yacht is a collaboration between UK design Claydon Reeves and an interior by big-yacht specialist March & White. The design is modern but clearly uses classic lines and cues which is a bit different from what Fincanteri presents in their new concepts. Rounded shapes, curves and sweeping lines characterize the exterior. Even the pool is circular instead of the usual rectangular shape.

Linea rises out of the water five decks with the upper deck serving the owner. The forward deck appears to be where the master suite will be showing a panoramic lounge with a circular skylight in the roof. Outside has a private area with jacuzzi and sun beds with seating areas. This is just off the yacht's helipad on the bow which makes it convenient for the owner to come and go and they wish.

Accommodation is envisioned for twelve guests and as many as twenty-five crew. The gross tonnage is 2,550 which is decent interior volume considering her vast 14-meter overall beam. The yacht's overall length is actually 91.85-meters. The interior is actually dark and subdued focusing on varying shades of browns with many of the surfaces washed by LED lighting. Each external deck has its own dining table and full complement of chairs for guests to have to option to dine al-fresco.
