News: Elling Yachts Launch First E6 Cruiser

For a while the E4 has been a popular model in the Elling Yachts line-up now the company has launched their newest flagship model, the E6. At just under 20-meters long (19.8-meters/65-feet), the E6 offers owners to step up from the E4 (49-feet) to have significant more room and amenities onboard. If you like to entertain onboard you will definitely need the extra space! Scheduled to launch in Spring 2016, the first hull is already out and on the water.

Her principle dimensions are 19.8-meters LOA, 5.35-meters BOA and a draft of 1.25-meters. The yacht’s layout spreads over two decks –lower and main- offering comfortable rooms below and living/entertainment area on deck. The E6 is a new generation of yacht for Elling Yachts and reflects in the design. Even though she is a bit larger than the previous generation the space onboard is expertly utilized –important on smaller yachts-.

Power comes via a single Volvo Penta 900 horse power engine with a smaller 75 horse power wing engine. One aspect common on all the E-Series Elling Yachts is a sliding sunroof! It’s definitely a cool feature to have when running or at anchor in pleasant conditions. There is room onboard in the aft garage to hold a turbojet tender. It appears as there is room for up to six guests in three cabins with the master aft of midships, VIP double forward in the bow and perhaps a double bunk on the starboardside midships.
