News: Dunya Yachts "KB6" Launched; On Trials

The name Dunya Yachts has been out of the spotlight for a while but they were working on an explorer-style yacht called "KB6". This 47-meter yacht is launched and has already been conducting sea trials. With construction believed to have started back in 2020 as DY009 the 499 GT takes its design from Gregory C Marshall with an interior by Design Unlimited.

After a drought of launches the yard has produced this vessel which represents the largest build from them since their 72.5-meter superyacht "Axioma" (known then as "Red Square") . The yard has been concentrating on refit and repair work for customers. It is expected that KB6 will be available on the charter market in 2024.

Onboard the interior was penned by UK Studio Design Unlimited and has space for sleeping 10 guests in and up to 10 crew members. It is not known the precise cabin arrangement as the yard has not released alot of information on this yacht. Classed, constructed and outfitted for unrestricted ocean service, the yacht has a steel hull and aluminium superstructure. At this stage, KB6 should be delivered by the end of this year.
