  1. Burger Boat 48 Cruiser
Burger Boat's 48 Cruiser is a stylish sub-50-footer made from aluminum and represents the yard's latest project. The project is a collaboration between Burger Boat and Vripack Naval Architects in the Netherlands. It is an exciting little project as the owner is very involved in the process, both in the planning and design phases. “Smaller yachts, like the Burger 48 Cruiser, provide a new generation of Burger owners the opportunity to experience the joy of owning a new, custom yacht,” says Jim Ruffolo, president & CEO, Burger Boat Company. “We were excited when the owner came to us to build this new yacht. These yachts give potential new owners the chance to be a part of the Burger family. It makes owning a Burger available to many more who have always aspired to take the helm of their own custom yacht.”
  2. This yacht is also pretty fast with a 35-knot top speed thanks to Volvo Penta D8 IPS800 engines that are both rated at 600 horsepower each. Delivery is expected to take place in time for the owner to enjoy the yacht in the Summer of 2018. What is also nice is that a second hull is being built and will be available around the same time period, so an interested client can jump on this opportunity. Luis de Basto will be designing the interior of the second hull. Accommodations are for two ensuite staterooms on the lower deck. There is an unobstructed saloon that is open-plan in nature with great flow outside to the aft cockpit. The design of the Burger 48 Cruiser has been a collaborative process between the owner, Burger and Vripack Naval Architects, all crafted around meeting the owner’s specific expectations for a midsize, luxurious and sleek new cruiser.
