'BENSHIP 8' Starts Construction At Benetti Sail Division

For a while Benetti Sail Division has been known for building classic-looking and inspired yachts with many elements that were popular from the bye-gone era. The 'BENSHIP 8' is a huge departure from that concept utilizing the day-boat type of concept in a very modern design and platform. This 44-foot speedster recently started construction and is presently for sale.

For $780,000 USD you can have this great-looking aluminium express yacht. Aluminum construction allows for modification to fit the owner's needs. Benetti Sail Division has partnered with the Shanghai Shipyard to build this yacht and offer very competitive pricing. The yacht will be able to take IPS or surface drives depending on the owner's preference and needs. LOA is 13.45-meters with a Beam of 4.15-meters and a draft of just 1-meter. As said before there are two options for propulsion using two Volvo Penta IPS 600D plants. These will be able to push the 13,000kg craft to 36-knots. The other option utilizes a pair of Nanni 560 horse power diesels which aim to give a 40-knot top speed. The fuel tanks onboard can store up to 1,600 LT. Below on the lower deck there is room for two cabins, a master suite and a twin berth.
