  1. 38-meter Admiral Wave Sailyacht Project Sold
Italian yacht builder Admiral Yachts recently successfully sold a unit in their Wave Series of sail yachts. For those not familiar, the Wave design of yachts from Admiral is a series of luxury sailing yachts that comprise of 38, 48 and 60-meter variants. The one sold recently was from the 38-meter line of the series. The design is from the talented Philippe Briand and will be constructed entirely of aluminium. Admiral Sail, the division of the Italian Sea Group that is building the yacht is proud to have another order in. Chairman of the group Giovanni Costantino, commented on the new sale saying, "This new build will certainly bring a new soul in this market.”
  2. The design is one for style and comfort but obviously a very functional sailing yacht. The forward deck is flush; being clean from deck paraphernalia. However, it does hide the below-deck storage of the yachts tender and water toys. Further aft, the cockpit is specifically for relaxation. It has been designed low and sunken so much so it is almost on the same level as the main saloon inside. The area is well protected from the elements with a hardtop and screening on the sides thanks to electrically operated glass windows. All cabins are situated in the hulls lower deck and feature a master suite and three other guest cabins. As for her sailing credentials, the Wave 38 is expected to have a carbon rig and a lifting keel to optimize performance. With the sail in the bag, we can look forward to hopefully seeing this yacht launch for her new owner in very early 2018.
