New 55-meter Admiral Superyacht "Quinta Essentia" Launched

Italian brand Admiral Yachts recently launched a significantly sized motoryacht. "Quinta Essentia" is her name and for those who follow yachts very closely; this name will ring a bell. It has been built for a very experienced client who has had a yacht previously with the same name but from a different builder. That yacht was renamed 'Quite Essential' in preparation for this new 55-meter Hybrid superyacht from Admiral Yachts.

Yes, we said hybrid, the new 55-meter will be ‘quite’ greener than her predecessor. The propulsive energy will be coming from the two standard diesel engines and also supplemented by two electric motors. It should allow for more efficient cruising as well as near silent times at anchor. At consistent 9.5-knots, Quinta Essentia can trod 6,500 nautical miles if necessary. The main engines are two MAN powerplants which are expected to run her up to 16.5-knots.

The design is by Monaco-based Dobroserdov Design which offers an interesting perspective in motoryacht design. While keeping the fundamentals constant, the style cues are quite different especially if you were to compare her to the owner’s previous yacht. There is a much straighter bow on this build and a more block-like appearance. Style plates toward the aft superstructure add visual interest along with the very distinctive candy red and white paint work that we became accustomed to on the predecessor yacht. The interior is by Michela Reverberi Studio and consist of accommodation for twelve guests in six rooms. The owner has a full beam suite forward on the main deck while there is a VIP-grade suite on the upper deck and the other guest cabins are on the lower deck. Quinta Essentia has been reborn again with a hybrid touch and an Admiral badge!
