News: Admiral 52M aluminum Hybrid superyacht

Admiral to build 52-meter aluminum Hybrid superyacht ​

Admiral receives another new build contract and this time it is for a 52-meter all-aluminum hybrid superyacht. Distinctive lines and shapes easily characterize this new build. The 52-meter superyacht is fluid and proposes interest with a reverse bow, foredeck helipad, extensive aft bridge deck lounging and sizable dip pool on the aft main deck.

The design for this radical looking hybrid yacht comes from Dobroserdov Design with Naval Architecture via Vripack. On the interior there will be five cabins, a master on the main deck and four guest cabins on the lower deck. This hybrid will be drawing power from two sources, electric motors and diesel main engines. The main engines will be four MAN V12-1800s and the electric motors, two rated at 150kW. 25-knots is the anticipated top speed when utilizing both power sources.

The yacht will be build to RINA "Green Star" and commercial standards and represents the new "E-motion" series of Admiral. Other features onboard this special yacht are a sauna, spa, hammam and massage area. The 52-meter superyacht is expected to be completed in 2016.
