  1. Christensen Completes 50-meter "Chasseur"
The 50-meter superyacht "Chasseur" is now completed by American yard Christensen Yachts. The new 50-meter yacht is one of two that launched around the same time by this builder -the other being "Silver Lining". New images by Jeff Brown showcasing the interior of the yacht are now available. The interior was completed to a design by VARO Interior Design while the exterior has been done in-house by Christensen themselves.
  2. The interior consists of guest arrangement for up to twelve guests across six cabins. The forward maindeck showcases a full-beam master suite while the lower deck keeps the guest suites. The cabins on the lower deck are mixed between a VIP-grade suite, doubles and twins. The cabins also follow the contemporary interior theme of the main interior spaces. VARO Interior Design used clean white surfaces juxtaposed with bare finished wood and white grouting to match.
  3. Chasseur's interior can be seen best presented in the main saloon where the teak and white grout combination echos the high-gloss white ceilings and walls. A number of features in the space offers cool contrast to what can be a stark base, using busy-looking back-lit natural stone for the in-saloon bar. Deep-veined wood coffee tables and counters offer a different grain while subtly hinting at the white grout in the finished floors.
  4. Chasseur offers a lovely sundeck for guests to enjoy with the forward end of that deck with large jacuzzi and ample white sunpads decorated with orange throw cushions for contrast. The aft end of the deck is being used to store one of the yacht's tenders along with a couple PWCs. Of course at anchor these can be lifted off to create more room for further outdoor furniture if needed by guests. The other tender is stored on the foredeck area. Chasseur is a yacht built from GRP material and is still suited for blue-ocean cruising. For that she has the ability to cruise for over 4,000 nautical miles at efficient range cruising. Onboard there are twin diesel engines that can run her to a cruising speed of 14-knots. Expect to see both Chasseur and Silver Lining at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS).
