50-meter "BEL1" Takes To The Water

While the yachting world was preparing for the 2024-edition of the Palm Beach International Boat Show, the 49.9-meter "BEL1" was preparing for launch. The new yacht is a fully-custom made yacht that stays true to what we have seen from the yard before but is still very unique in its own. The all-aluminium exterior design is found to be drawn by Fulvio di Simoni.

On the other dimension, the interiors were created by Enrico Gobbi's Team For Design although the yard nor the designer have commented on them in any detail. "We are very satisfied and proud of this project, which, due to its originality and architectural complexity, has been quite challenging," said Fulvio de Simoni. "However, at the same time, it has allowed us to express our creativity in inventing new forms without compromising functionality and the enjoyment of life on board the ship."

Four decks are available for guests to use and one of the highlights is the sun deck which is quite large for a 50-meter. They have devoted 145 square meters of floor space to the sun deck which is divided into three general areas. The fore portion has a 'mini pool' while area mid deck under the hardtop is fitted with sofas, general seating and a bar. The aft portion is open for configuration with sun loungers or other lounging furniture plus the area can be covered with sun awnings when required. Delivery should be in time for Summer use after sea trials have been satisfied.
