    The media has to sell ads and keep advertisement revenue up. "At sea for 66 days" makes money. Fiction entertainment or adventure is O K by them.
    The media has already proved that they could not identify a fact if it slapped them on the ,,,,, face and could care less to follow up on anything. There is always another headline to make money off of.

    I think 66 hours at sea is more like it......the media does those typos every once in a while :D

    He would still had drifted further than he did, then 66 minutes sounds better.
