She is here in Jax. I'm sure it's (jaguar installed on her bow sprit) installed again. I'll try to get a pic.

Maybe they didn't want the ornament to get salted up on the Atlantic crossing. Shrugs.

There are many in the Jax area that wish Weaver had sold the team away (another town). I am one.
That darn ornament getting salted or deep six'd would not upset many here.

I am a fan of the new build and ship. Really don't know much about Kahn to form a personal opinion on him. I'm sure he is just another businessman doing his thing. But I do like the ship.

I was actually thinking the same: a removable (or retractable, Rolls Royce style...) ornament would save some poor deckhand a lot of time and elbow grease.

It's probably just loosely fitted. For sure where it is on the sprit, it can't retract and go anywhere. Unless they unattach it and roll it backwards and it is stored in a hatch on the bow. Perhaps?

Wow, nice never knew she had that or could do that... now she joins, "Musashi", "Fountainhead", "Octopus", "Hampshire II", "Ronin"? as yachts that have basketball hoops and could play a bit of b-ball.

Rising Sun is another I can think of with a basketball hoop. Seems to be becoming a bit more of a common feature.

Edit: Also Enigma if I remember correctly.

Yes you are correct!! Doesn't seem to be such a rare feature anymore now!

Well I guess "Rising sun", " Enigma", "Ronin" and "Musashi" have probably a basketball hoop due to the one special owner who owns or owned them once.:) He possibly also inspired Fountainhead's owner.

I know that discussing owners is frowned upon unless its public information but if your implying that the owner of Fountainhead is the owner of the NBA Dallas Mavs than I'm here to burst your basketball by telling you that he's not the boss man but it seems to be a persistent rumor.
The owner lives in Miami Beach part time and is a very fit 52 yr. old who likes basketball to stay in shape. The boat spends quite a bit of time docked at the Epic Marina off Biscayne Blvd.

Yes Mr. 'C' is the name often associated with owning "Fountainhead"

***** just uploaded new photos of "Kismet" although I am shure we will see better photos of her in the Caribbean by Klaus Jordan.

Anyway she has got a really nice interior better than on her predecessor. Watch also her huge TV walls similar to those on "Big Fish". Especially her exterior areas are really stunning!

Judy , Tom and myself are going onboard Kismet today. We may publish a review on the boat, pending the information and access we need to put a proper YF review together.
