    Hi,

Works fine for me although the text No photo in database does show up in top left corner and picture is in the middle.

Yeah it is the angles but...she is 77-meters long, a little longer than the others.

In art school we learned how to use camera angles to make small things look bigger and visa versa as a practical application of the theory of perspective.

In real life the Mitchel Brothers became famous for capitalizing on this same theory when widely used in the making of their ground breaking film Behind the Green Door.

As a result the once dry study of the the theory of perspective has become widely practiced and is popularly known as the "porno effect".

In the case of Smeralda the problem is how to fit something that is "real long", almost as long as a football field, into a single camera frame only 640 pixels wide. So far I think the pictures we have seen posted of her have lost nothing in the translation. IMHO no matter what angle you look at her from she is one big gorgeous superyacht whose superstructure blends very nicely with her hull!!

In my book designer Espen Oeino certainly deserves an A+ for this one!

"Smeralda" has been delivered to her new owners in Dubai recently after sailing from France to Dubai in about 10 days. Word is she is to be renamed "Sea Stallion".

Went searching for info on Smeralda after looking at the yachts in Dubai thread and discovered the new website with a new name.

    SILVERYACHTS | HOME

I love these yachts the more I look at them. Smeralda's interior is particularily beautiful. Elegant but casual.

The latest one is going to be called "Silver Fast" and well it appears this is going to be one of her custom name boards...

Silver Fast is for sale asking €79.95M. Another note, can we change the thread title to Silver Yachts.

    Great videos, thanks for posting!

I especially like seeing how this size yacht handles rough seas and how they look at speed so I really enjoyed a close up look of how the Silver yachts performed!

That was some insane weather... surprised how fast she was moving in that kind of weather.

Another one of these gimmicks ahead of the MYS. "Silver Fast" with an S-class convertible perched on her helipad. I'm sure we saw Lurssen having an exotic car on one of their yachts at MYS before.
