    Can someone explain to me why the current fuel prices are going upward so quickly?

    I've seen numerous reports that we are in a fuel glut, ..for instance;

    Have you noticed it goes up a lot quicker than it did to come down?

    Prices usually go up in the spring due to higher demand.

    And more in June.

    I find it humorous, that we're sitting here today talking about the horror of diesel rising from $1.70 to $1.80 when such a short time ago $3.00 and $4.00 were in our conversation. Yes, we never seem to question the drop, only the return toward some normalcy.

    I know. I saw the riots on the streets when Gas went from $0.11 to $0.12 cents a gallon in Venezuela. It overturned a whole Govt and led to a nutter to be in charge while wearing a daft red beret.

    The same could happen in DC in reverse if a despot in red headgear gets anywhere near the White House.

    Funny! Adult people here complaining about the fact that fuel prices based on a crude oil price around 20$/barrel are not forever? Economy war on Russia was getting too expensive on the long run. I guess we´ll see normal crude oil prices between 50$ and 70$ per barrel again in the near future. And yes, that´ll have an influence on fuel prices...:D

    Given the fact that boats are the most wonderful things in our lives (OK, women, motorcycles, the odd Cessna, and cars are right up there, but consume lots less than even a humble 22-foot Boston Whaler) what the hell does a few bucks do to your bottom line versus the pleasure you receive from heading out/hauling ass on any Wednesday morning giving your finger to the world at large...Just. Because. You. Can?

    Yawn. When it's $3.80 a gallon again then I'll pay attention.
