My Web-friends Elayna and Riley are sailing from Europe to Australia, their first sail trip ever so it has been a steep learning curve, but they have made it to French Polynesia now and they are posting small videos on the web as they go along. Here is the 50:th Episode if you also would like to follow them: http://sailing-lavagabonde.com/sail...e-places-on-earth-sailing-la-vagabonde-ep-50/
I think these guys are pretty inspiring. Gone with the Wynns is quite good if you're learning how to sail.
Our friends have now posted Episode 52 and reached 200.000 followers on YouTube, well deserved... http://sailing-lavagabonde.com/sleepless-nights-at-sea-sailing-la-vagabonde-ep-52/
Look who I bumped into at a waterfront bar in Neiafu, Tonga. I felt like a groupie, but had to let them know how much I like their videos. Elayna told me how much she liked my shirt! Afterward my crew wanted to know how I managed hanging out with the prettiest girl in town They were as nice in person as you'd imagine from watching.
Lucky you, I would have liked to be there too! Meanwhile I am supporting them and I have also told them that they are now seen on YachtForums... I just saw that it is already 4 years since you were visiting me with Rena in Stockholm..!
I've also become a supporter- they're doing a great job of production, and I enjoy each episode. Time flies when you're having fun!
Here is Episode #55 already..! http://sailing-lavagabonde.com/what-shall-we-do-with-the-drunken-sailor-sailing-la-vagabonde-ep-55
Some very exciting news for Elayna and Riley today http://sailing-lavagabonde.com/youtube-couple-lands-million-dollar-yacht-deal-sailing-la-vagabonde/
You can surely see the production quality improve with experience. Great people on a really cool adventure. Could make a good argument for a circumnavigation
Glad to see that their next yacht of choice is the Outremer. Grand Large Yachting is one of my favorite builders and favorite team. Judy
