    Maybe that is Australian slang for fine wines.

    A Stubbie in Australia is generally a beer of around 330ml in size. A Darwin Stubbie on the other hand is 2 Litres - 6 times the size

    Pleased you're having great time spending holidays in Toscana.
    Just wouldn't waste thirst, sipping some weird "Tuscany beers" :confused: while some Rosso di Montalcino or Morellino di Scansano are sitting there ;)



    Good advice! The Tuscany beer is an acquired taste that really is strong on alcohol and sugar.

    A beautiful country with incredible culture, food and wine, beers etc.

    Now that is ADVICE for a ambitious writer! I too read Perfect Storm in one sitting and thouroughly enjoyed it. As for the movie, watched it many times and forgive all the "Hollywood: just for the atmosphere and great direction.
