  1. Heesen Yachts Deliver 42-meter Megayacht "Alive"
Dutch yacht manufacturer Heesen announced the delivery of their latest yacht, the 42-meter megayacht "Alive". She is a yacht that places emphasis on economy in fuel consumption and energy control. Alive has been fitted with Hull VaneĀ® technology that allows her to harness the power of the waves to her advantage. The sub-sea wing utilizes the energy from waves to produce power; this combined with the fast displacement hull and conventional diesel engines produce remarkable results. On sea trials Alive has met the 30 to 35-percent more efficiency mark as compared to other yachts of similar size. Built as Yard Number 17042, she was designed by Frank Laupman of Omega Architects. Her delivery has come in quick time after being launched on the 29th of August, 2014. Delivery was slated for October 31st but we believe she was handed over in the first week of November, still relatively on-time to schedule.
