Cor D Rover unveils 50-meter yacht for Benetti​

Netherlands-based superyacht design firm Cor D Rover has released the final product of their contribution to the Benetti Innovation Project. That's right, Benetti now has a design proposal from Cor D Rover. Benetti unveiled the design this morning on their Facebook page and show a 50-meter superyacht designed around the concept: Lounging, Safety and Well Being.

Certainly the Lounging aspect is very apparent especially on the pool end of the yacht. The so-called Benetti Beach concept has a pretty large pool of the aft end of the maindeck of the 50-meter variant. Yes, there is a planned expansion of the design through 55-meters, 72-meters and 91-meters. The large pool is flush deck so there is no stepping up stairs and going over to then submerge into the water, simply dive right in. The area is open yet cosy, created by semi-privacy screens, making the surroundings feel like a private pavillion. There is a myriad of external furniture that can be set up to utilize the space aft of the pool. Inclusive of that, a large sofa area and a sun-awning can be stretched above to knock-down the power of the relentless sun. Forward of the pool, underneath the upper deck aft overhang is dining al fresco and time at the bar for a relaxing sip.

The interior has been designed mature and modern with cremes and browns being emphasized. Stainless steel and nickel elements also tie the elements together. While details are not plentiful, Benetti says that special features include VIP appartments with private terraces, the possibility for helipad integration, wellness spa on the lower deck, a discotheque among other features. Whichever model you choose, it is certain to be built around the premise, lounging, safety and wellbeing.
