  1. HeySea 40-meter Catamaran Yacht In Build
HeySea Yachts is presently working on a new 40-meter Catamaran-hulled yacht and that is expected to be completed next year. Photos have emerged showcasing the completed hulls and part of the superstructure. It is reported that the owner is likely from China because of his affiliation with the China Cup International Regatta. The build name of the craft is Vista Catamaran 130 but there is no mention of what the actual yacht's name might be when completed.
  2. As can be seen in the photo, the hull construction is in steel while the superstructure is in fiberglass. An interesting combination but not one that hasn't been done before. In terms of space onboard, naturally this yacht will have an abundance of it compared to a monohull of comparative size. Two hulls make for a wider beam and in this case the beam is in the region of twelve meters, that's nearly a 40-foot beam on a 130-foot yacht! The Vista Catamaran 130 will have a top speed of around 15-knots thanks to twin Volvo 725 horse power engines. If you have the time to burn, then she will give you an autonomy of around 4,000 nautical miles at 10-knots or less.
