"April Fool" in Finland

    hi;

    I had to stop my car yesterday at the harbour in Helsinki to shoot some photos.

    Megayachts like "April Fool" are very very seldom seen on these latitudes.

    When taking a closer look at the photos at home I saw a sad contrast on the photo:

    The beautiful "April Fool" on the photo attached is lying in the Helsinki/Hietalahti harbour representing everything beautiful. Behind her is the empty Kvaerner-Masa Helsinki Yard famous of their luxury cruiser ships. The yard has built nuc-powered arctic ice-breakers, too.

    The yard is empty and shipbuilders are fighting for their jobs. No shiporders. It`s sad.

    But "April Fool" is beautiful.

    The ISA, April Fool II has a new name.
    It is now called Sonka.
