8 photos of "Agram" http://flickr.com/photos/d_vdm/sets/72157603945676275/ Pictures taken this afternoon, 27th of june 2008. At first I thought "Agram" was the girls name "Marga" spelled backwards. (Many owners of this type of yacht apparently prefer to name their boat after a certain female. But there's a dot above the "G", so it must mean something else Pity this client chose dark blue as hull color. Would make a nice change if someone had the courage to order a dark green, of dark burgundy or off-browne color. Would also make it a lot easier to keep them apart since many Heesen yachts look more or less the same.
I kind of agree on the color issue. Though with a design this bold I would not use any dark tone, deserves a brighter color. shades Kelly
Lighter hull colors Not sure how it would look on a much larger yacht, but wish someone would take the risk: They look attractive on these 44 to 74 ft yachts: http://www.lengersyachts.nl/foto/43f71985952ab.jpg http://www.lengersyachts.nl/foto/43f33fa6da0da.jpg http://www.lengersyachts.nl/foto/43ff2612a5940.jpg
Well we have seen two of those colours being used on larger yachts. The aquararine pigment is on ISA's Aquamarina. The tan/brown is on Trinity's Destination Fox Harb'r Too. I have no doubt that they would look cool on the Agram.
