    Hello,
    I've been told that advancing the injector timing about 3 or 4* will clean up the cold start stink .
    I was wondering what other effects it might, increase or decrease total rpm cause any ill effects ?

    When it blows up, the stink goes away. Following old crows tales is usually expensive to fix.

    The ole 3208s are not high tech, but there not the old Chevy SBC that you can just crank the distributor around and stop at the Sunoco on Friday nights.

    If they are set correctly, leave them alone and run your motors under a load more often to get rid of the stink.
