540 hp cummins, when you slam the salon door, both engines will die out...start back up easy...anyone have ideas?? Thanks, Bill
If it has the Glenndenning controls, it is in the Glenndenning control head. Back in that era, Glenndenning had issues in the control heads with the sensors moving around (for fwd, neutral, reverse) and such. A lot of them were changed out under warranty. Needless to say the jarring from the door slamming on the Cabo's made them act up because of the proximity to them. Either that or a loose wire........But when they got jostled the control sensors would move around and the computer would shut down under safety reasons...... Check that first...... If both engines shutdown at the same time......Other possible sources could be the shutdown for the fire system, or loose ignition wires...... I generally saw this in earlier Cabo's 2003-2004, because by 2005 Cabo was using the CAT and MAN electronic controls with those engines.......but obviously Cummins no.
