Does anyone have any experience on the mid 2000s 53'? How is the ride and overall quality of the boat?
Have been looking at similar size and year model Oceans as well. Any first hand comparison?

I own an '03 56 and think the boat is built very well. Ride is great and she runs fast. Owned a '97 48' Ocean and believe the Post is superior to the Ocean in most every way. Ocean ride was good for the way I used the boat.

The 53 is just a shorter 56 or longer 50.

I have spent a significant amount of time and caught many a Billfish on my friends 53. It is a very well built and comfortable boat. I also personaly owned a Ocean Yacht before recently upgrading to a Cabo. The Post is a step up from the Ocean.

Have and need to get rid of a 1986 48 Ocean. Have owned it for 20+ years. Ocean has been good to me but It needs a lot of work and it made more sense to me to upgrade. I looked for a couple of years and stumbled on a deal.

I own an 07 53 and I am extremely happy with it. This is my second Post. Very well built tough boat. You should be pleased.
