We seem to have acquired an old RIB, but this one is a bit special. It's the 1st 11m Stormforce Flybridge made by Redbay and was built for the Around Britain and Ireland rally, which she breezed. She has a rather interesting history after that, with a partial sinking, new drives and the owner being arrested for financial crimes. Auctioned afterwards by the Sheriff's Office. I may be busy for the next few months.
The commercial version works offshore 365 days a year on the windfarms and Scottish and Irish fish farms in some bloody rough seas. No complaints yet. Our's is a bit quicker, y'know, being the sports coupe.
She would make a nice tender for a larger explorer. Looks like a tough and fast boat for really bad weather. And a very nice John Deere, Fish .
