Recommendations for a charter for 2 in Carib or Bahamas

My wife and I will be celebrating a milestone anniversary next year. We have done commercial cruises and have hoteled on the Saints but this will be our first on a small motor charter. Should I just contact the major charter companies or is there a resource or website for small independent charters? 6-8 nights in February or March 2024. It doesn't need to be just us and a captain but I don't want to bareboat as a newbie on these waters. We are social people so I don't think I would mind splitting a 4 cabin boat with 3 other strange couples but let me know if you've heard experiences to the contrary. We are in early 50's in excellent health, physical condition, and are experienced water lovers. We are adventurous, down to earth, enjoy boat drinks, and are ok with the occasional partying, but we won't be hanging up any pineapples. We can order and prepare our own basic provisions for breakfast and lunch but we need prepared dinners even if they need to be on land. I would like a captain who is willing to teach about the local waters and areas. We have a 40 express cruiser up north. I monitor my own fluids, change my own filters, and bottom paint my own boat.
