  1. 111-meter Y722 By Oceanco
Here we have an early look at Oceanco's 111-meter Y722 as she was transported to Albasserdam to be put in a fully enclosed construction hall for finishing. This yacht is anticipated to be delivered in 2025. The exterior design is a joint effort between the yard and Espen Øino International while the interior is the work of Mark Berryman Design. Now that the first phase of construction is complete and Y722 is already in the outfitting hall, work will continue to prepare her for a 2025 debut.
  2. This yacht once completed will join a select fleet of privately-owned vessels engaged in scientific research, discovery and exploration. Her interior will house up to 22 guests and provide for 33 crew members. Y722 will feature green aspects that include a diesel electric power plant and a large battery energy storage system, which not only aids in smooth engine operation but will allow extended periods of emission-free silent running. The waste heat recovery system will add to the yacht’s efficiency and an advanced wastewater treatment system delivers high environmental standards with its compliance for use in special areas.
  3. Special emphasis for the comfort of the crew members has been taken into consideration. Instead of separating crew and guest quarters completely, her living spaces – which include a distinctive combined crew mess and dining room – have been devised to create synergy between all those on board and encourage the mutual cultivation of ideas and passions. Crew well-being is paramount with enhanced crew accommodation as well as crew gyms and wellness areas.
  4. Further information about Y722 is that once she is completed there will be an internal volume of approximately 5,000 GT. This would make her the highest volume superyacht to date that the Dutch yard has built. Naval Architecture is by Lateral in conjunction with Oceanco. Above the waterline there are five decks that guests will have access to. Shell doors in the bow suggest that the main tender garage is located there along with a large midships hatch, although smaller hatches aft likely hide her wellness/beach club facilities.
