I believe Pelorus was originally supposed to be a successor before being sold.

Yes, that was the rumor. She's one of my favorite Bannenberg designs so I'm excited that we may finally be able to see more of her.

I'm assuming that he meant that Coral Island/Ocean's owner has another successor under construction.... Pelorus was the 1st successor before being bought by RA.

I know. Im just not sure what will happen. That launch was 13 years ago. I think it's strange that you give up that build and don't do anything for 13 years further. We will see though.

Yup it seemed for me like she was rather tied up in Antibes for the most time in recent years.

Reliable sources tell me that there were some pretty serious inquiries made about a new CI 5 years ago, this may have led to something being built. I am not privy to that information.

Polar Star has had a new paint job done and it looks pretty dang good. It's a white/grey with the black contrast around the Windows. It makes her look like a completely different yacht, one that I like a lot more. I'm curious if they updated the interior with the new exterior look.

Looks like Lurssen has another large hill moved. They even extended the shed for its build. It seems that they almost just specialize in 110m plus builds these daya

Global has emerged from an extensive refit which saw her being lengthened. IMO, she looked a lot better prior to the refit

I agree, the new stern just doesn't look right.

She looks different than the rendering suggests but it might be. She is the first newbuild there, they previously used these facilities only for refit/ repair after they bought it in 2009. It is within sight of the other 2 Lürssen sites in Bremen.
I wonder if they gonna complete her there since the lifting capacitiy is limited to 4800 tons.

That yard used to knock ut container feeder ships, that yacht will no doubt be taken down up the river a bit to the usual finishing place

She has to be at least 74-75m now, They should have put a longer swim platform on.. That would have balanced her out, She now looks very much like an explorer yacht..
