    Interesting.
I'm curious on a couple of their numbers, but all in all, a well presented message.

I have to agree with the presentation. Although it is only one of many environmental issues facing the world today - it’s my firm belief that future wars will be fought because of water. Either because there is too much of it – or because there is not enough to drink.

I do fear for my children and Grandchildren and hope that we, in this generation, can get this right.

all wars are fought over resources; water, oil, gold, grain, land, iron, access to the ocean, etc, etc.

There was a gentleman in California that was trying to corner the market on water, he was assembling distribution rights to the largest aquafier in the state but was stopped when Govt. finally figured out what he was up too. It could have been a serious problem, one company owning the distribution rights of water to the one of the largest AG centers in the world.

China hangs on to Tibet with both hands because those mountains are the source of most of its water.

Canada has the most fresh water of any nation, i cannot remember the numbers but it was surprising how much of the worlds drinking water is in Canada.

the Sahara used to be a massive system of lakes and Savannah, climate change brought drought and desert.

Europe benefits from climate similar to USA even though at latitude of Canada due to world wide ocean currents that bring warm water from the gulf of Mexico to Europe's Atlantic doorstep. This current has only been in place a few thousand years, and will change as increasing amounts of fresh water enter the oceans. when it changes again, Europe will lose this climate and revert to much colder patterns.

You're aware of just how much water there is in the Great Lakes? And that they are part of the USA?

As I recall, Canada has roughly 7% of the globes fresh water.
The Great Lakes conversely have 1/5th or 20% of the worlds supply.
They are the largest group of fresh water lakes in the world.

To put it in perspective, if you drained the lakes, you could flood the entire US (lower 48) in roughly 8 feet of water.

I'm full of fun and perhaps useless facts about the lakes because we spend so much time on them!
