How do you convert the BMP to a JPEG?

By the way, Mary Jean has left and another yacht is in its place.

When you save the image from the webcam page it's already a .jpg so there's no need to convert anything. Now, when you resize, if you use a program like THIS ONE it won't change the format so when you start with the saved jpg you'll end up with a jpg.

Sorry I didn't post that link sooner... I've been busy at it totally slipped my mind. The program is really simple and easy to use (and it works in batches too, which is very handy). Check it out, you'll see how easy it is. :)

Here is a side on view of the Slips at the megayacht berths here at Port St. Charles. The Destination Fox Harbour is right up next to the camera.. so close that you might not realise. However, you can see her Satrboard spreader and the courtesy flag. A couple of slips across from her starboard side is a smaller sloop that i do not recognise.. anyone have any ideas?

    Yacht ID's please

Two new yachts came to the marina recently, however i have not a clue what they are. One is sail and the other is Motor. The motor looks somewhat like Grand Finale but more likely than not. http://www.portstcharles.com/webcam3_pop.cfm

In addition to this i saw a Perini Navi from far sailing up towards the Port this afternoon. She is a Ketch and looked to be either s/y Is a Rose or s/y Burrasca. The vessel is currently anchored in Carlilse Bay. She is very pretty with her up lights and stuff.

Another addition to Port St. Charles. The m/y Argyll sailed in this morning and is berthed at slip #1 on the megayacht berths. You may check the webcams to see.

I saved some snapshots from the Port St. Charles Marina webcam(credit). The Trinity m/y Argyll was manouvering to change slips a few moments ago.

BTW, I do not believe that this is a Trinity, it is an Italian built yacht.

She's in New England a lot during the summer months up here. She loves Newport; I've seen here up here a bunch of times. AMG is right about the make, and Ralph Lauren is credited with the interior design. I wonder if he used his own paint and bed linens? :D

Here's a spec sheet in case anyone is interested.

    Ron,

This thread has been moved under the Marinas & Waypoints category for better indexing. This will improve the chances of helping people find info on St. Charles Marina.

Oh okay, no problem Carl. Could you do me a favour though(I've never asked you one) The name of our Marina is ' Port St. Charles Marina' and not Chales as it is in the title name. That was a typo when i started the thread. I was wondering if you could change it for me..
    Appreciate it.

That would work if you were from Boston! :D

I keep hearing from my girlfriend how amazing Barbados is.... we'll probably end up down there sometime. She's been known to visit a lot.

Yes Barbados is a great place to be. We have pretty nice facilities at the marina even though the slip space is VERY limited. I believe about 4-5 fair sized yachts can fit on the megayacht berths..I am subject to correction but i believe on of the largest we had berthed at one of the slips was the Feadship Utopia. We have had bigger but they had to anchor off behind the slips or go to the Main Harbour. The likes of Leander g, Talitha G, Octopus, Ice, Blue Moon and other big names. We are a popular destination but just our space at the Port St. Charles Marina is limited so that is like the Achilles Heel.

So i would not defer in telling you not to come. It's great man.. beatiful beaches, girls, yachts, EXPENSIVE SHOPPING lol.. great hotels, food, and the people are generally nice.

I've been in Port St Charles, the staff are incredibly attentive. It's far from Bridgetown (only 50 cents U.S. on the bus though).
