Sorry to say, Tartanski, but I think the previous answer was the correct one.
Joe Vittoria had to do with Hertz car rentals (I believe).
Jim ***** was (is?)the Toyota guy in USA.
So I think Nano-J has a go now!

You are right on both. Joseph Vittoria has been working for both Hertz and Avis, twice! And also been CEO of both companies...

Bottom one's a sloop... two up from that's a ketch. I'll get out my copy of "Sea Of Words" when I get home and decipher the others. ;)

I guess the Sail boat Avatar means you're a ragbagger. All answers were correct, Good one.

    It's all gone quiet...

What famous tall ship's name means 'short skirt'?

Ragbagger, eh? Do you stinkpotters have something against that, then?!:D

    Linnet,

Although your statment was made in fun, let's not forget the number of members that tried to help you in a previous thread. And let's not get side-tracked...

Good question... what tall ship's name means "Short Skirt"?

Carl, I didn't take offence with the stinkpotter reference, In New Zealand using the term ragbagger or stinkpot is a common reference to boaters. I happen to be a ragbagger who builds stinkpots.

OK. It is very confusing all kind of questions overlapping each other.
So I propose that is the turn for the first man in the row ( ReneGER) and forget the Cutty Sark one....(whether my answer is right or wrong).

Come on, Rene, I know you have a lot of good questions!!;)

Cutty Sark - is 18th century Scots for "short shirt": Cutty (a cognate of the English language word cut) is "short, stumpy"; Sark (from Old English serce "shirt") is a chemise, undergarment or nightshirt.

Kalmeran... I think your answer is correct. Maybe it is the question that was wrong?

    Thanks,Carl !
I gave a reaction on Lars' post, that we should be so polite:) to invite ReneGER to ask the next question.

Rene, where are you ?? ;)

Thank you guys! :) Sorry for the late....

There is 35m yacht. When the yacht was launched in 2000 (yacht was sold in 2003 to a new owner), she had a spectacular tender on board. The yards of the tender and the mainyacht are very well-known.

    1. Name the first name of the mainyacht

    2. Name the yard of the mainyacht

    3. Name the name of the x-tender

    4. Name the yard of the x-tender

I think it's an easy question. This "team" was very well-known.
