What's involved in replacing fiberglass decking

    Dear OP, I've got a bad feeling about this...the only way I can put this into perspective is to tell you about the house my ex wife and I lived in. She wanted to add a playroom and Master Suite to the existing house. It was on a cost plus basis. The original estimate for the addition was 30 grand...once they started in and found out how bad the existing house was, they had to fix first before they could add on. When all was said and done...I was 180 grand lighter! And you know the old saying...as soon as you put the "marine" in front of any part or material...your cost just went up 300%.
    My advice (whatever it's worth) is to get really drunk to the point where you've gotten her out of your mind/heart, and buy a newer boat that won't drive you to drink forever.:D

    The boat needed $180k once we priced it out. Problem is the resale value for wood hull just isn't there. PM me for more details.

I will try to find out about a wood surveyor. 40 years in the trades IE: Woodworker Ever consider a partnership?:rolleyes: I am trying to upload some pics of my old girl.
