    Disco,

You've turned in some pretty good pics over the years. How would you classify yourself? Thanks in advance for what you've shared in this site.

Thanks, flattery will get you everywhere!

I am easily an amateur who loves boats, loves going out on boats, and when I can't go out on a boat or to the disco I love reading about and looking at pictures of boats while listening to loud house music.

I am like one of the other folks who said they started drawing pictures of yachts when they were a kid. My addiction started the same way when I was in kindergarten and has not waned since.

The only difference is that now I take pictures of boats instead of drawing them!

Another yachting website states that Marc Paris died in a plane crash in Antalya, Turkey on 24th December... the pilot died as well but German newspaper claim that a german tourist died so I am not 100% sure.
I am really shocked even when I did not know him, he was an incredible photograph and seemed to be a such a nice person (he visited as Santa Claus a hospital in the past on christmas..)

Dear Marc, RIP and my deepest condolences goes to his family and friends!

I would hope that it isn't true! That would be so tragic!

I'd like to add a friend's website to the list of great photographers. Alexis Andrews has been doing it for a long time.

    Thanks for posting the link!

His work is consistently wonderful. I recognized his shots of Antara immediately.

Seeing so many of his beautiful images in one sitting was quite the treat!!

I'd add Tom Serio! Our very own resident photographer. You see his photos all over this site and in this thread as well. I wish I could get as good as him! When I purchase my new camera and get accustomed to it, we shall see! Tom's photography is my benchmark for now.

Not sure as yet but I'll check out what the store I bought the last one from has currently. It has to be the same or better of course.
