  1. Oceanco 107-meter Project "Stiletto"
    Stepping Out in High Style

Designed by Ken Freivokh, Stiletto represents the distillation of several creative concepts. It is a deliberate departure from the accepted stereotype layout of multiple salons, heavy accommodations and minimum external space. Instead, Stiletto features a cavernous double height salon with a mezzanine enjoying both external views, as well as copious onboard space.

Stiletto has been designed to provide a seamless and all-encompassing experience. The exterior styling, the continuity of line, long sightlines and indoor/outdoor integration create a one-with-your surroundings experience. Following the completion of a number of large superyacht concepts including Ghost, Dream and Fortissimo in collaboration with the Fincantieri yard, Ken Freivokh was approached by Oceanco’s owner, Mr Mohammed Al Barwani, to proceed with the design of a circa 107m superyacht based on a newly developed Oceanco engineering platform. Ken’s brief was to implement a number of concept layouts from recent projects; taking these ideas to a new level.
  2. Freivokh designed Stiletto as a surprise; a rule breaker. A superyacht that transcends preconceived notions of interior space and deck layout. The aft terraces surrounds an infinity swimming pool. This grants seamless external views from the dining and bar areas. Further aft, the swim platform transforms into a private beach club.
  3. In a somewhat radical departure, Stiletto also boasts an impressive outdoor forward terrace, fully protected under adjustable louvers, including a larger lap pool, bar/pantry and lounge chairs, all in a recessed area protected from the wind. At the forefront of the terrace is a spectacular waterfall feature leading up to the extendable helipad.
  4. Among many other notable yachts and a variety of production boats, Freivokh was responsible for the exterior styling and interior design of the iconic 286’ sailing yacht Maltese Falcon, the largest privately owned sailing yacht in the world, reviewed here on YachtForums... Perini Navi 286' Maltese Falcon. Ken's work isn't just limited to the future of yacht design. He's also got a knack for recapturing the golden age of yachting with a timeless treasure built by Burger Boat Company and reviewed here at YachtForums... Burger 151' "Sycara IV" Fantail Cruiser.
  5. Forward of the superstructure and recessed behind the main forward deck, the rectangular lap pool is sheltered by long glass bulwarks and adjustable skylight louvers to create more of a self-contained biosphere. Just aft is a large circular bar and seating groups.
  6. Stiletto also makes full use of the latest Gorilla glass technology to offer massive windows to create a unique transparency and integration between interior spaces and the outside world.
  7. The atrium takes Ken’s original concept of transparency as developed for Maltese Falcon to a totally new level, as instead of the somewhat intrusive mast, it features an all glass lift which together with the glass interfloor segments provide a unique visual relationship between all the yacht’s decks, further enhanced by balconies onto double height voids.
  8. The atrium on Stiletto is not a lobby by a stairwell; an experience in its own right! With balconies over double heights, a nod-to-the-future spiral staircase, an all glass lift and a massive skylight overhead, it is indeed a unique experience to move between deck levels, enjoying the level of integration and ease of circulation that is paramount to the enjoyment of guests.
  9. With the shell doors open to the sea, the 10m tenders launched and ready, a sea aquarium with the backdrop of the swimming pool, a couple of flat screen TVs and a full array of gym equipment under massive skylights, this all-inclusive experience could not be readily duplicated on land or, indeed, on any other Superyacht.
  10. A pair of 10-meter limousine tenders will be designed to fully match the main yacht. They reside within the beach club. Once launched, they leave a massive space for entertainment, workout and watersport activities. The aft pool is overlooked by the higher terraces including the private owner’s deck.
  11. The owner's office or ship's study takes a minimalistic approach, enjoying vistas of the horizon to one side and the abyss of Freivokh's signature staircase to another.
  12. The true extent of innovation becomes evident with this massive, multistory atrium with internal balconies, glass lift and an impressive spiral staircase, all capped by a soaring skylight. The luxury of Stiletto is that it offers choices and flexibility, something the engineers at Oceanco happen to do very well. While it remains a concept at this time, Oceanco is prepared to build it!
