Greetings all I am contemplating purchasing a 2007 Roamer 40 with the Volvo Penta D6 engines and IPS pods. Looking at previous year models, I see that they were designed for straight shafts. I have heard that designing boats for IPS Drives usually involves movement of engine location as well as possible hull redesign. A major overhaul! Does anyone know whether Chris Craft did this when they went to the IPS pods, or did they just slap them into the prior model? If so, does anyone know how it performs relative to something like the Tiara Sovran 3900 that was designed to accommodate them from scratch? -Peter
