You have both put a ton of work into your Jersey girls. It shows. Very nice.

Gratifying, aggravating, expensive... Sound about right??

The ugly filter is on my cmaera. It's actually a bad Awlgrip roll and tip job that was on the boat when I got it. Full of curtains and holidays.I will address that later as there are more pressing issues....like the entire topsides being in primer!

It was... but i took the 454's out and put 2 136hp rebuilt 453 detroit diesels in. Top speed is 14kts with the fuel tanks full and the water tank half full. Cruise at about 8 kts at 3 mpg. I wanted a trawler so this works perfect for me. Most economical egg around.

Ha! That's great!! Yep. Almost home. I'm motoring through LIS now, should be in RI around 2pm. That's a nice boat you have, nice marina as well.

A few shots from my last leg northward. Hatteras to Pt. Judith, RI. Encountered some storms, some rough seas, a few minor mechanical problems, and as usual, a lot of fun.

A few more. This was a great trip, starting from Tampa, around Florida, and up the east coast. Learned a great deal, saw many places that I would ordinarily never get to, and spent some great times with friends and family.

Anytime you come back with a boat full of tuna it was a good trip. Did you overnight? It's been a few years since I've been to the edge, look forward to getting back out there. Keep the videos coming, never gets old.

Thanks. Yeah we overnight. Typically leave around 9 or 10pm, arrive by 4-6am and troll the day, chunk overnight, and then troll the morning before we leave. Always an adventure and a good nights sleep after.
