Benetti Shipyards launches 65-meter "Silver Angel"

Tuesday 17 February has been Livorno’s time with the technical launch of the new 65m, FB247, "Silver Angel", the 14th unity produced in Livorno since 2003 when the shipyard has been acquired by the Azimut-Benetti Group, and the first hull to be launched from Livorno in 2009.

In the shipyard’s agenda 4 super yacht to be launched by the end of the year and 5 more by the end of 2010. The yacht, whose delivery is in schedule at the end of next April, is the last born among the Benetti steel yachts. Aluminum superstructure and steel hull, refined and stylish, she is able to accommodate up to 32 people among guests and crew.

The sinuous profile and streamlined yacht is the result of the experienced design of Stefano Natucci who designed the interiors as well, in collaboration with the London interior design study, Argent Design, helped and supported in the building process by the qualified Benetti team. 14 guests are easily accommodated in 7 cabins: 2 twin, 3 double, 1 master and 1 VIP, and taken care by a crew which can reach 18 people.

What is really impressive as soon as one steps on board is, without any doubt, the peculiar opulence of the yacht’s interiors: some 1.200 square meters of black glossy oak (800 of which dedicated to the guest areas and 400 to the crew areas) and 700 square meters of marbles: fine white onyx for the interior areas and travertine for the external areas.
