I keep having a problem with moisture getting behind the back saloon window. It seems to be coming from the sweating of the inside windows but not 100 %. This will be the second time in about 4 yrs. that I have had to have the problem corrected. Can not find any place that the water is getting under the glass and making it bubble up. My boat is a 1987 46 Post. There is a joint to the port side underneath the window.

Any help or advise would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Jeff

It is right under the large window on the port side. Towards that bottom left corner of the window.

There were posts in other topics on this site about the rear bulkhead rotting from water damage. I think it was actually coming from the bridge and through the railing screw holes or other holes up top. Maybe the water is traveling down along the inside of the window and looks to be the glass leaking from outside but actually not. I think you are seeing the damage on the inside since you mention sweating? Peeling\discoloring the inside wood\finish?

Water leaks are the worst to figure out sometimes.

I had this when I bought mine, it came from water intrusion for the outside for many years. Water came from the flybridge down thru the ‘ladder opening’.

Yep, sealed everything properly, and closed the rear of the Flybridge and mounted Cockpit Sunshade, so no water reaches the windows...

Ouch closing the bridge in down in the south would make for a long hot summer.
