Took the heads off a 5.7 small block, one bank was standard but the other side has been slightly bored out. So we are looking for stainless valves with oversize stems. Cannot find any in Europe or the usual Stateside outlets like Summit.

If anyone has any ideas, please let me know.

    Cheers

Let us know how things work out.
Long time since I messed with SBCs but I have a bunch still out there running (so I did a few things right).

Nope, still not fat enough. Can get them in regular steel but not stainless.

Maybe Merc are the only ones who use fatties just not in stainless.

I may have confused my self. You looking for 2" stainless valves for SBC heads. That was it. You have sloppy guides? Humm. SBC heads have serviceable valve guides. Punch in a more standard sized set of guides. They come in hardened steel and I have seen silicone bronze listed years ago.

Just install new valve guides. Why do you need stainless steel? I've seen Mercruiser use non stainless steel a lot of times.

New valve guides & are you sure you need 2" and not 2.02 " valves ?
