Generator and AC while planing

    The only possibly issue with the AC would be if they located the intake too far forward causing it to suck air. If that happen it will shut down without damage

    If anything it s better to run the genset underway as the exhaust back pressure will always force water out of the exhaust system. Ideally the genset water intake should not be a scoop type although so have relief holes on the back side. A few months ago one of our genset ingested water because these holes were clogged with barnacles and I was running on plane running the other genset. Caught it right away, no harm done but I have instructed our diver to check the holes monthly

    Yes, you should have no issues using the generator and a/c on that boat on plane and it's better to use them and to keep the generator loaded when you run it.
